How To Effectively Use Love Affirmations To Change Your Life
Love affirmations are extremely powerful, as they go right into the heart of the matter, so to speak. They can turn your lonely life inside out, and bring you what you may not even yet believe is possible. There is also however things they definitely cannot do, despite the false claims of those who should know better, and this can set a trap which you must be careful to avoid. Sidestep this one problem issue, approach this from a genuine position of love, and your life can improve beyond measure. Everyone has someone, somewhere waiting to be found.
The one problem issue I speak of is the issue of attempting to control another person. Attempting to alter the will of another being, who themselves have a free will, and bend it to your own desire. Such a desire, for the control of another, is in reality the opposite of love. It is an intent of low design. Not only is such an attempt doomed to failure, there is even the possibility of negative repercussions. Energy, once created, must go somewhere. Stay on the path of the wise, and attempt to control only that which can be controlled, and you can change your life greatly for the better.
What is the most important aspect of love? You may indeed be surprised by the answer. The answer is self love. The aspect of truly accepting yourself for who you are. Without this feeling of extremely high self-worth, it will be that much harder for you to attract positive feelings from anyone else. Even if you do succeed in this, you are sure to find it impossible to keep the affection of these other people. They will sense the lack of self-worth within you, and will be repelled. It is crucially important to start with affirmations of self-worth and self-acceptance if you are to make love affirmations work.
Once you have a solid base of self-love to work from, you can create affirmations based on the giving of love. This is something which does not have a finite or limited supply, so you can be as generous as you like with it. It is also a good idea to include affirmations of being surrounded by, or immersed in, the light and love of the universal being. Connecting to a higher power can give you a far greater sense of love than you could otherwise hope to achieve.
Finally, we come to attracting the love of other people. This cannot be forced. It can only be accepted, allowed, and attracted. Without mentioning the names of any specific people, you can affirm that people are ready and willing to love you, and that you gladly allow this to happen. Be peaceful and relaxed as you make these affirmations. Let it happen. You will then be able to repeat the exercise over and over again, each repetition reinforcing the effect of your love affirmations.
