How To Harness The Power of Positive Energy To Make Changes In Your Life
Did you know that being positive can help you overcome problems in your life, and can also give you the motivation to go on to greater heights. It is important to realize, however, that positive thinking by itself is nowhere near enough. It will take a serious effort to achieve anything worthwhile in your life, and, there is no point denying it, the more problems you have in your life right now the harder it will be to make progress. The most fundamental fact of all, though, is that change is possible and will be possible so long as you persevere.
Having a positive mental attitude gives you the impetus to want to change your life, as your mind will not be closed off to the possibility of improvement. This is the first battle. You need to be able to realize that even if the things you want are not possible for you at present, they are perfectly possible for you in the future. Our minds are malleable, and can be worked upon. Working on your mind can then give you the motivation and mental toughness you need to take action and achieve.
If you have been thinking negative thoughts, especially if you have been thinking them about yourself, it is important to change as quickly as possible. This I know, is easier said than done. A low self-esteem can thwart any suggestions which are planted into the mind. It needs to be cleared,not held on to otherwise the result can only be frustration and failure. Remember, that you are a unique being, a rare gift to the world and special. Whenever you catch yourself thinking a bad thought, just stop, break the cycle, say “error”, and begin to think good thoughts instead. You will eventually train the mind into realizing that the bad thoughts are not required any more.
Positive thoughts can achieve much if they are affirmed and back up with repetition. While there is still a conflict in your mind between the new affirmations and the old negative programming, be keenly aware of the need not to feed those negative thoughts. Don't fight them, as that will only give them strength. Just note your error and then give power to the positive thought which is the absolute opposite.You give power to the positive by believing the positive
Using dedicated affirmations, can make these positive thoughts into virtual commands. Instead of being positive when you are consciously aware of the need, you can be positive without having to think about it. Affirmations recited in the morning and then at night can take root in the mind and become a force for good. You can make this even more powerful by combining it with mental images and mental movies. Affirm, and then act on the affirmations as strongly as you can. This will give you the greatest chance of success. As actions and thoughts reinforce each other, you will be on a great upward spiral of being your positive best.
